9 DAY TOUR – AMSTERDAM, BERLIN, MUNICH (DURING OKTOBERFEST) and PARIS (22 to 30 Sept 2012)
9 Day Tour to Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich for OKTOBERFEST and Paris, only £579 per person.
This 9 day tour is perfect for people who want to experience Oktoberfest, but also want to see some other parts of Europe as well. This amazing tour starts and finishes in London, but you also have two nights in Amsterdam, two nights in Berlin, three nights in Munich during Oktoberfest and finally one night in Paris.
The tour starts and finishes in central London, and on the first day we travel to the famous sin city of Amsterdam. While in Amsterdam we will have a bike tour of the city centre, and lots of free time to experience Amsterdam’s coffee shops, museums and cool, quirky boutiques. We also have a group visit to Amsterdam’s eye-opening Red Light District on the first night of the tour, a great way to get to know your fellow passengers.
We then move onto the famous German capital city of Berlin. We will see two sides of this city during our included walking tour, the shiny modern confident Berlin, and the old historic divided Berlin. We will see the remains of the Berlin wall, and visit Checkpoint Charlie, where many East Berliners tried to escape to the West, we will also visit the Reichstag (German Parliament) and the Brandenburg Gate. We will also have plenty of free time so you can explore Tiergarten (one the world’s biggest parks), or maybe do some shopping or enjoy the renowned Berlin nightlife.
We leave Berlin and head for Munich, the capital of Bavaria, where we join our festival and events clients at the famous Camping Thalkirchen. You will enjoy regular transfers from the campsite to Oktoberfest, and breakfast each morning, the same as our normal Oktoberfest tours. Lots of time to experience Oktoberfest and we will have three full nights at the biggest beer festival in the world. During our stay in Munich, you can join your tour leader for a walking tour of the city centre (which of course ends at the Hofbräuhaus for a beer). While in Munich you have the opportunity to join our tour to Dachau concentration camp (the first in Germany) and the lovely Andechs beer monastery.
Finally we leave Germany and head for the French capital Paris. Once we arrive in Paris we visit the Eiffel tower and then hit the street for our last night together as a group. Maybe the whole group will be up for the full Parisian experience with a cabaret show, complete with can-can girls, dinner and Champagne.
After Paris we head back across the channel and past the white cliffs of Dover back to London where the tour will terminate.

All accommodation for 8 nights, including hostel accommodation in dorm rooms while in Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris, and camping (tent) accommodation while in Munich for Oktoberfest. (Bring your own sleeping bag for the camping during Oktoberfest).
Includes breakfast each morning at hostel or campsite, apart from day one in London.
