Let Pillow take you to one of the best New Years celebrations in the world. The annual event in Princes Street is something everybody should experience at least once in their lifetime!
We will stay at The Hanover Hotel which is located on Rose Street, which is in the heart of the action and parallel to Princes Street. All rooms are en-suite and based on a twin / double room. The location of The Hanover is perfect as its surrounded by pubs, shops and restaurants and is ideal for the New Years Eve party on Princes Street.

Additional 2 Day Highland Tour
As the tour ends on a Friday, do you want to spend the weekend in the Scottish Highlands? Our Highland Tour leaves Edinburgh on Friday morning and takes in the sights of Loch Ness, Glencoe, Oban, and of course Whisky tasting, before leaving on Sunday morning and arriving back in London on Sunday 4th Jan at approx 8.30pm in time for work on Monday morning!

The Details
Itinerary

Day 1: Tuesday 30 December
Meet at Embankment tube station at 7.30am for 7.45 sharp departure for the days drive to Edinburgh. After arrival in Edinburgh, we will check into your hostel or hotel and then party into the night at a local bar.

Day 2: Wednesday 31 December
The Big Day!!! After breackfast we will make our way to a local pub to celebrate NZ at 11am and AUS at 1pm. The party continues all day until evening when its time to move to Princes Street with the other 100,000 people to enjoy the street entertainers, fun fair, dancers, food and drink stalls, live bands and of course, the fire works at midnight! Happy New Year and Welcome to 2009!!!

Day 3: Thursday 1 January 2009
How are the hangovers? After breakfast we drive to the Loony Dook event, to watch (Or participate in if you are brave) the 500 people follow a pipe band to the shores of the Forth and then go for a mid day swim in its freezing waters! That evening we will all meet at a bar for our farewell party.

Day 4: Friday 2 January 2009
After breakfast we check out the hostel or hotel and board the coaches at 10.30am for the trip back to London. Estimated time back in London is 8.30pm.
