Join Pillow for the Easter Holidays and our amazing tour of South West England and the Welsh Capital Cardiff. Almost everybody gets four days off work in early April, and this is a fantastic way to spend your free time over the long weekend. The British Isles boasts some spectacular scenery and historical buildings, and we have tried to pack in as much as possible.

We visit the Welsh Capital Cardiff, and visit the world famous Caerphilly Castle. We then visit the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath in England and have a guided walking tour of one of the most important architecturally historical cities in the world.

After that we visit the famous Cornish party town of Newquay which attracts surfers from around the World. After visiting some lovely historic Cornish fishing villages we also visit Lands End, this beautiful place is the most Westerly Point of the British Isles and surrounded by stunning beaches and cliffs.

As a final treat, we stop and visit the world famous stone circles at Stonehenge. Nobody should visit the UK and not visit Stonehenge.

During the tour we will travel on an executive 49 seat coach complete with toilet and DVD player. There will be an English speaking Pillow tour leader with the group at all times, and we will have specialist guides for Caerphilly Castle and Bath town centre. We will stay in central hostels in 6 or 8 bedded dorm rooms.

Itinerary


  • Friday 6 April 2012

    Meet at Temple Tube Station at 8.00am for an 8.30am departure to Welsh Capital of Cardiff. The drive from London to Cardiff should take around 4 hours and on arrival we will head straight for Caerphilly Castle (one of the great medieval castles of Western Europe) for a guided walking tour. After our visit to Caerphilly Castle we will check into our central Cardiff hostel and then hit the central Cardiff pubs and clubs until the early hours.


  • Saturday 7 April 2012

    After breakfast in the hostel, we will board the coach and drive for 1 hour to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath in England, where we will spend the day having a guided walking tour of this famous old city. After some free time to get lunch and some further exploration, we will board the coach and drive for 4 hours to the Cornish seaside party town of Newquay. After we have checked into our central Newquay hostel we will hit the bars and clubs of Newquay.


  • Sunday 8 April 2012

    Today we have a nice relaxed day visiting the picturesque fishing villages and rugged coastal scenery which makes Cornwall famous. We visit the famous towns of St Ives and St Agnes and we also visit Lands End so we can have our photo taken on the most Westerly point of the British Isles. After getting a healthy dose of sea air we head back to our hostel in Newquay and have another night on the town to celebrate Easter Sunday.


  • Monday 9 April 2012

    After breakfast we board the coach and start to head home, driving for approximately 4 hours until we stop and visit Stonehenge. After we have had a good look around this famous stone circle, and had a good break for lunch, we re-board the coach and make the final drive back to London. Our estimated arrival time back in London is 8pm where to tour will terminate at London Temple Tube Station.
