Admin Assistant based in Tetbury, Gloucestershire
Pillow Adventure Travel Company Ltd, based in Priory Park, Tetbury, is looking for an Admin Assistant to work approximately 4 hours a day, 4 days a week. The role pays GBP £7.50 per hour.
Your responsibilities will include
1. Answering email and telephone queries and questions from our clients.
2. Managing bookings, and taking payments from clients over our website and over the telephone.
3. Updating and organising our pre-departure information documents, and sending these to clients at the correct time.
4. Keeping our website up to date (using word press – training will be given). Also updating our social network sites (Facebook & Twitter etc).
5. Organising crew and tour leaders and sending them pre-departure information.
6. Helping to organise our tours, liaising with coach companies, campsites, hotels and hostels and our overseas representatives. Also helping ensure we have the correct equipment for each tour.
7. Keeping an up to date email list of clients and sending regular updates and offers to our client list.
8. Keeping records of receipts and costs for our year end accounts.

Ground Crew
This role involves setting up our campsite areas for our Pamplona or Oktoberfest tours, aswell as setting up the kitchen and communal areas. Once the camp site is set up, there are always jobs to help with the smooth running of the camp, including helping serve breakfast, washing up, security and making sure our passengers are comfortable and informed about the day’s events. Although hard work, there is great camaraderie amongst our ground crew and it’s always a lot of fun. You must be available at least a week before and after the tours start and finish. Pillow Adventure Travel is always looking for good ground crew members. Although the work is unpaid, you enjoy subsidised travel and free accommodation, two free meals a day and free time to enjoy the festivals once your work is done.
Tour Cooks
If you have a recognised qualification or experience in cooking for large numbers of people, this role is for you. Each morning you would be responsible for preparing breakfast for our passengers, including cold options like cereal, fruit salad and croissants, and hot dishes like sausage, bacon, baked beans and eggs. You would be responsible for making sure you have all the produce ready for the following day, and keeping records and receipts of how much the food had cost and budgets etc. You would also be responsible for hygiene standards and making sure everything is washed up correctly and stored etc. You would also need to provide hot meals for the ground crew in the evening. The ground crew is at your disposal to help with the breakfast provision, so you must also be a good communicator and able to issue clear instructions to the team whenever and however you need help.
Tour Leaders or Tour Managers
If you have tour leading experience or qualifications this role is for you. Responsibilities include meeting our passengers in London, staying with them for the tour until completion back in London again. At all times our tours leaders must be communicating with our passengers, informing them about the event, meeting times, things to do and see etc. Full training about each tour is given to tour leaders before the event.
