If you agree that bank holidays should be about madness and mayhem than join Pillow for our tour to the Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling. This annual event has been held for hundreds of years, and consists of participants chasing a 7 pound Gloucester cheese down a very steep hill. Of course, carnage follows with participants rolling and tumbling down the hill side, much to the delight of the thousands of spectators. What's the point you may ask? Not only is it fantastic fun, but the first to the bottom of the hill gets to keep the cheese, and more importantly, gets some great stories to tell.

On Bank Holiday Monday (31 May 2010) we meet early at Embankment tube station and travel to Gloucestershire in executive coaches with toilet and DVD player. We make sure we arrive early enough to get good viewing positions on the hill, and so anybody who wants to run will get a chance. Remember if you do participate, injuries like broken arms and legs are common so it's at your own risk! Once the races are over, we meet back at the coach for the journey back to sunny London where we have drinks at Walkabout on Embankment.
